All About Us

We are a Junior Achievement company that consists of students in grade 10, 11 and 12. We go to Lester B. Pearson, Crescent Heights, and Jack James high school. We gather once a week at Lester B. Pearson high school to get hands-on experience with entrepreneurship such as gaining financial literacy, producing a product, marketing and selling at venues. We went through a process to choose a product to create and came up with a company name and product names. Along with this, we choose a president and executives that specialize in different areas.

Our company sells affordable handmade woven pet toys. We used old t-shirts to repurpose life out of them and to create less waste in the environment. Our company name is EcoPaws that is based on our two main points that describe our company. One being eco-friendly; reusing old shirts, two being our target audience; pet owners.
